| They have arrived. They've eaten 4 different kinds of food so far, from the buffet arranged for them. They've discovered the fun of really well stocked litter trays (and I've spent quite a bit of time removing litter from their mouths!), they've found the curtains, the baby dam, the space under the desk, the toys, the contents of the wardrobe, the floor (they started off on the bed), their new cat bed, their blankets, and I'm totally besotted! | My neighbour crashed his car two days ago. A total write off, but no one hurt. I was the one he called to go fetch him, his dog and the car contents back home, and I was the one who said if he needed to get anywhere until he's got a replacement or a hire car sorted out to let me know. [more...]

| It's amazing how insomnia can rule your life. After three nights of seeing the dawn chorus from the wrong end and feeling ill from the effects I fell asleep at about 6am this morning and slept until about one in the afternoon. I feel great, but I also had the most amazing dreams! [more...]

Having not had much joy with losing weight gradually by exercising more now that I'm walking properly again, and being lured into eating nice things by himself when he's around I thought I'd take the opportunity to bump start the weight loss with a little denial while he's away. | The delight! I can't believe that in a blink of an eye 2 hours had passed just watching them feed, be washed, get kidnapped by uncles, disappearing off the screen, sleeping, just breathing... They're all so beautiful. I can't believe I've been so lucky as to have met Masters Little Toy and Inspector Gadget, and that they've been so generous as to let me re-home 2 of their beautiful kittens.
