Following recent requests for information regarding Kinkfest4 2007, here is a very brief statement from the organisers.

As most are aware we have had venue and organisational team structure challenges for the past few months that have severely challenged and delayed our usual state of play regarding the organisation of this year's event.

Well, we have some GOOD NEWS for you at last!

With a newly motivated organisational team forming (and a new masochist to head up this years team) Kinkfest4 2007 WILL be going ahead!

Kat of the leather family (leathermgoddess) takes the reins with the rest of the team's full backing and support.

Please bear with us for just a little longer as our remaining challenges are ironed out ~ we will post again within the next couple of weeks with more information regarding venue and date.

Fantastic news. Even though I'm on a bit of a break from things at the moment, I hope to be back to help by the time the event goes ahead.
It would have been sad if the event had floundered. I hope those who have been so critical in the past will realise that unless they get their fingers out and help, this sort of event takes a huge strain on those who DO stick their neck out.

For someone who hasn't been to KinkFest the easiest way is to see what KinkFest 3 was all about on http://www.unfettered.co.uk/kinkfest2/kinkfest/
It was, in this case, an event which ran on Friday evening, all day Saturday and an After Party on Saturday night / Sunday morning. Entertainment, education, workshops, stage events, stalls, community interests.
At the moment a date has to be fixed for this year and a new location found
