| Today she was 100% better than yesterday, has eaten a little and drank a few glasses of milk.... watched Babe with her, while Lou took my daughter home to pick up a few more things. No news as yet, but have been told that's a good thing.... i.e if it has been the awful Bacterial meningitis... they would really know by now, the fact that nothing has yet come back it a positive - the old adage that no news is good news. They are still keeping her in for the next few days, as she has a few more doses of the mega antibiotics...which seem to be doing the trick... whatever she has/had. [more...] | ||

| Many many many thanks to all of you out there who have sent love, energy and healing- and thanks to Kat for all her help and her wonderful shoulder. I wasn't in a fit state to talk last night never mind type...it is,as she says, this nasty(understatement) illness Meningitis, a parent's worse nightmare - closely followed by a grandparent's... watching you child and you grandchild go through such pain and fear...and feeling utterly hopeless is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. | I have just had a telephone call from my daughter, the young man who was involved in the accident, happened to be a boyfriend of one of her young clients. She had come into training yesterday and broke down and told my daughter that her boyfriend had been involved in an bike accident on Monday and was seriously injured. My daughter said she knew as soon as her clinet had mentioned it it was the same young man that Loops had helped on Monday. [more...] | ||
