| Our doggly is nearly three now. He is rather awesome, a gentle creature, but very very protective. He has had a hell of a lot of time devoted to him by my best friend and it has paid off. But I know my place within the pack. Being as he is of the wolf tribe it is only right that he is a pack animal and defers always to the dominant, as do I. But I also find myself deferring to him often, making way and waiting for him as I know when we are out walking that if I am far ahead of him he will at some point come rushing past me, occasionally knocking me off my feet. | Water is an amazing substance. It is a liquid when it shouldn't be simply because of the nature of the bonding between the molecules. A symmetry of hydrogen atoms pivoted by oxygen. It has surface tension and becomes less dense when it freezes which is why ice floats. It can flow and fill any crevice and evaporate as if it was never there.

| Got up late, chilled in bed for a bit finally emerging about 2pm up and walked the popsicle dog in the crunchyside..its still covered in snow. Saw a flock of geese, vast numbers of them flying over towards the reservoir, what a noise they made...i am sure they were all saying 'are we nearly there yet?
