29 Oct 09Internet...How I missed you(29 Oct 09, 9:05 PM by scraps)
The problem with moving house is that you need to get everything set up. I've been here for a month, missed my first local munch as I had to work till 8:00 and only now started to arrange semi regular internet access. So yay for that. All i need now is for painting and decorating, furniture, Television (a man came and took my areial away) and all will be right ith the world. [more...]

9 Aug 09Name unifying (1)(9 Aug 09, 9:02 AM by northern_light)
I use various names throughout the internet, and have decided to try and consoldate them into one easy repayable name with the help of carol vorderman. As i normally like to avoid names with numbers in, mickp82 has been consolidated and i'm now scraps. This is all likely to change back as i get conffused easily. [more...]
26 Jul 09And they claim buying a house is stressful... (2)(27 Jul 09, 6:25 PM by northern_light)
...and who ever they are, are correct. What I had hoped would be a straight forward quick and easy purchase of my first house has been thrown ut of thwe window. With an interesting selection of legal issues, it's been far from easy, and is looking uncertain as to whether it's going to complete (but i've not given up hope yet) so we shall see. [more...]

In support of the British Heart Foundation, myself and 3 friends have just completed a banger rally along with 59 other teams. Driving 2606 miles from England to Lille to the Swiss/Itallian Alps to Barcelona and back to England in 6 days. My god am I tired, but we had a great time and only nearly killed each other once. 2 Jul 09Stupid things for charity (2)(3 Jul 09, 2:13 AM by northern_light)
Well with the hottest day of the year here, I find myself embarking on a banger rally across Europe in a smelly £250 Mondeo with no aircon. 4 Muppets, 4 days and 1500 miles we'll be driving from Lille to Barcelona via the Swiss Alps. I'll admit this isn't the most obvious route but there you hve it. [more...]
25 Jun 09Giger, Cantebury and Bears with Human faces(25 Jun 09, 6:57 PM by scraps)
With the glorious weather of the past few weeks I've found myself with a big bubble of energy that I've needed to burn by doing....things! My latest energy burning scheme was to go to the zoo with friends. However it was quickly decided that I can't come up with good ideas (including a distinct lack of exciment for Alestorm)and we should all go to Cantebury instead. [more...]
3 Jun 09...and so the brick cost me £60 (5)(4 Jun 09, 12:12 AM by Rhoobarb)
Ever notice the world is full of arses? I was vaugley aware of this fact until Monday morning when I had it rammed home, for whan I arrived at my car, I discovered someone had taken a dislike to my car window, and thought it would look better with a brick through it. [more...]
10 Apr 09Exploding lips (3)(12 Apr 09, 11:44 PM by scraps)
Don't you hate it when it's holiday time, and you get sick? I've some how picked up a lip infection so i can't eat, drink or smile without the swollen scabs that once used to be lips threateneing to rip apart and usher forth a tide of pain and blood. [more...]

4 Jan 09Itchy Tasty(4 Jan 09, 10:02 AM by scraps)
Well it's the new year, I've sat around eating, drinking watching crap on the TV, and not a lot else. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't enjoyed it up to a point. But waking up on new years day, uncomfortably curled up on a sofa with a large lump of wood down the middle for a sleeping buddy(good thing I'm a masochist??) I found myself filled with an bouncy itch to go do something, which is still there several days later. [more...]
11 Aug 07Oh how I hate the M25 (5)(12 Aug 07, 8:27 AM by MasterG63)
Well being some kind of crazy person I live in Kent and work in Hampshire. This means every morning and evening, 5 days a week I get the pleasure of driving 66 miles around the M25 and down the M3. This happy little journey is normally an hour and a half, most of which is driving slowly, car trying not to hit anything and generally thinking life would be easier (and I'd get more sleep) if I lived closer to Hampshire. [more...]
13 Jul 07The tour de france - a week late(13 Jul 07, 10:33 PM by scraps)
Well it's been a week or there abouts since the Tour de France. I was fortunate enough to live right on the route (a clue for any would be stalkers). At first I thought (in my best sarcastic voice) "Ooh wow, hundreds of bicycles going pass my house on a Sunday morning" [more...]
