and there isn't that much that does - but my take on the whole d/s thing is that its very much about an expression of a personal preference. Its taken me some time (years actually) to balance what works for me in relationships with how I approach the world in general (freedom of speech, personal development, importance of equality and tolerance). I don't have much/any sympathy for those who equate their decisions to live in a d/s dynamic to being a directive from god (but then I'm a atheist/Buddhist) and have even less truck with people who state that the natural place of a woman is submissive to [more...]
