| Some advice needed
The new hate crime laws do they apply to us?
I have been outed by somebody who I thought I could trust (I did a blog on that sometime ago) now its got really nasty although the person concerned has gone over the top with her gossiping to the existent that people are getting a little fed up with her crap. I thought that I could report her for inciting a hate crime, any thoughts. By the way I am a bi sexual switch (just call me confused!!)

| I have been up north this weekend to see my niece and my sister. They are fine but I am a little bit troubled by my sister's change of accent and sayings she has inherited.
We in Bristol say ”urr alright” means hi how are you and also doubles up as a general hello and acknowledgement. She said to me "you ok duck". Mmm not happy [more...]

| Somebody I knew committed suicide a few weeks ago, I have to be honest I didn't like the man but I have had a lot of time to think about the whole situation. He was gay, ok so what!! He couldn't come to terms with that fact in a lot of ways (and living in this shit hole) but the small town prejudice that we suffer didn't help i.e. getting a kicking and constant abuse all the time. | My local has employed a new barman. The locals predictably decided to give him a ribbing. Anyway I felt a bit sorry for him but then somebody said “ the bar manageress will make you drink any slops that are left if you have spilt too much from a bucket” my ears pricked up then!!
Somebody else added, “You should see the whip marks left on the last bloke who didn't come up to her high standards in here”. The said bar manageress who knows me too well and gave me a wicked smile as I said to this poor bloke “so you didn't notice the chains and restraints in the cellar then”
