| Due to work I havent been able to attend many events for the last couple of years. This year I wanted to make a real effort to get out and about to events, see old friends etc. I have put a lot of weight on over the past few months too and my self esteem has taken a real battering, partially due to a mysterious illness which has left my Dr baffled. I really want to get out again but the thought of going to a club or munch terrifies me mostly because no matter what I wear (not much fits) or how much effort I make I feel crap. | Some years ago I modelled a Victorian Riding Habit for a friend's site. The photo was on here at the time and I was contacted by a gentleman who told me that he had bought the outfit for his partner. Unfortunately I was never able to afford the outfit and lost contact with the person who made it. | Everyone has something they find difficult. How often do you push your sub to do something they find incredibly difficult? Im not talking necessarily play or pain here but everyday things like dieting or giving up smoking or in my case writing a blog or a journal entry or witing down thoughts. What do you get from it, the control, the knowing they can do it but need the confidence to succeed, giving them praise afterwards or simply for the enjoyment of seeing them struggle because it has been an instruction they need to fulfil? | Up until three years ago I attended regular clubs and munches. Unfortunately my "dream job" killed my social life and its strange how soon one drops off the radar once you arent seen out and about and have to keep turning down the invitations. I miss the events and I miss the people I bumped into regularly even more. The upside being I have @Caladia who is everything I looked for in a sub for a very long time, who has intergrated herself into my family so beautifully and who I remain extremely proud of. so bloody hard to find a decent hairdresser that will cut my hair the way I want and not how they think it should be? I had a fantastic one who loved cutting my hair because it was different than his usual clients and even presented me with a paddle brush (not for my hair  )He decided to go travelling almost 2 years ago and Im now on my 7th hairdresser since he left. I had one who burned me with bleach, another who told me that my hair was disjointed and promptly cut off the bits Id been growing for ages when I had given him strict instructions to leave them alone grrrrrrr. | I can remember a time as a child dressing up and looking in the mirror. I can remember a time as a teenager waiting for the beautiful me to emerge from the spotty teenage cocoon. Tonight I saw photos of myself as a baby, a teenager, a young adult. I looked in the mirror when I got home and saw the wrinkles which seem to emerge daily. | Afte being told some years ago I wasnt welcome at any works social event unless I dressed to conform, I decided to boycott the whole thing. Pvc it may have been but I was completely covered with no flesh visible, whilst other people sported skirts as short as belts and far more cleavage than I was, without comment. My new works being far more tolerant of diversity, I was still somewhat reluctant this evening to attend the Xmas "do", however I had a good night with lots of compliments about my corset and to be told we love you just the way you are was fabulous. | She Lives! Although her profile is now deleted she lives on with the same humour as always. Who else would walk into a late shop after a few bevvies, an all you can eat Chinese buffet and discover a foil wrapped Manchester Tart in the fridge and sit there in the pub with a pint in one hand and Manchester Tart in the other. | After a few weeks of the old "I will be glad when they are back at school" line I have decided the house is too quiet. Yesterday I had sugar rush to keep me amused and entertained, today the house is completely empty and staying tidy for more than five minutes. I hate days off like this, still the munch is tonight, perhaps I should go bake cakes or something. | ||

| From reading posts on here we all know how easily things can be misunderstood but when I wrote "the grass on my lawn is too short" on msn I really wasnt trying to say that I intended to start re growing my pubes or that my lady garden was in need of some nurturing. | How wonderful it was to be selfish and have time and space just for me, to re-charge the batteries and to take care of me (and him). We may have not made Download, but we still had the music, spent lots of time outdoors, drank with friends. We dressed up for Lash, we danced, we played, we laughed, we shopped, we cooked sausage Tikka Masala, we watched films and I got introduced to more geekery. Coming home yesterday and leaving him behind was hard and today I feel flat. | I have never been the most confident of drivers. Despite having passed my driving test many years ago I refuse to drive on motorways and have a particular dislike for certain roads and roundabouts which I will drive miles around to avoid. Three weeks ago I was forced to take evasive action after a car pulled out in front of me and ended up skidding and hitting a parked car instead. The driver of the other car never stopped, my car has been written off due to age and has now been replaced. The problem is Im even more nervous driving now and as a passenger too. | Usually more of an annoyance than anything else but just this once they had me lmao. Whilst preparing dinner and trusting sr with grating the cheese and telling him I didnt want to find bits of stray finger mixed in, the door bell went. He rushes off and I hear "Hello, are your mum and dad at home?" He's obviously wearing very well for his 32 years
