| Well, here I go again - trying to give up smoking. I'm apprehensive as, the last time my partner and I tried to give, she went loopy, deserted me and left me homeless! Anyway, this has to be done. I would love to say that I'm doing it for all the right reasons but, in all honesty, it's more of a financial decision. The frightening truth is that I can no longer afford to smoke. Once the rent, utilities and council tax are paid, I have enough left over to eat reasonably well and have the occasional drink or smoke cigarettes. [more...] | ||

| Hi, everyone. As many of you will know by now, I have had a rought time of it lately, what with being deserted, made homless, abandoned to my fate by my local council etc. I have survived on my own wits and with the help of some special people ( Missy, fyrephin, Happy Giant ) and constant messages of support and encouragement from many others. I have now found a lovely flat to rent from 17th October so things are looking up.
