Went to see Student yesterday. We had a lovely time, and wanted to take him home with us! He's really enjoying himself which is good, now if only he'd eat better I could relax! He's soooo thin poor lad. Just had a nasty tummy bug and he can't afford to lose an ounce anyway. Good job I took a high calorie supplement down with us- brownies  Since this week is the half term hols, I have a few days off and Christmas cake baking is the order of the day. | Yes, I really did go the the pictures last night with the kids to see Transformers. The evil cop car with the logo 'To punish and enslave' amused me. The special effects were brilliant, the plot was OK (it was nice to see the soldiers as good guys for once!) there were a few witty one-liners, but it was about 20 minutes too long. Some of the action sequences needed shortening and generally tightening up and the bit where the boy is searching the house went on for too long. You know how it is though- they spend all this money on CG and can't bear to axe it! [more...] | ||
