| I have an appointment today at the hospital. I must say I'm nervouse. I'm going alone and on public transport(horror). Its not even a local hospital I'm going to. I have to get a bus and a couple of trains to get there. I must say I am a bit of a prima-donna, I'm used to being driven around but today I have to tackle things alone.
It was nice of my x-Master to text me first thing this morning and wish me luck. But of the Dom I have been talking to for a few weeks now?....nothing. When we were on the phone last night he never said anything. Plus he never text me this morning either. Despite knowing [more...]

| I've have a good day today. It started off with me getting a phone call from my Dads social worker to tell me he had sorted out his new care package. This means that Dad can now come home to us. Poor Dad has been in respite care for three weeks now. Previous to that he had been in hospital for two. But because his condition has deteriorated slightly, the social worker, the ocupational therapist and myself decided he needed more care and more equipment at home. [more...] | ||

| I love Halloween. I buy loads of sweeties that I like and of course buy extra,just in case. Because you never know round here. The year before last we were inindated with lovely kids all dressed-up in their finery and the worsed thing happend..I ran out of sweets. But as my mum never quite recovered from her hoarding days of the war,she (bless her)always has a secret stache of various stuff round the house. | I quite like writing these weblog thingies I find them really helpful. But the time when I dont write them is when I am absouloutly loaded up with problems. Perhaps I should. | I went to my first munch tonight. Or at least I tryed to. My instructions were,ring a certain number when I got outside one of the ladies would come and meet me. This I did,but instead of someone answering, I got an answerphone. I left a message,thinking they just want the newbie to stew a bit. So I waited, and waited...and then I rang again and still no answer. I rang several times. Then I decidec to do something I have never done before(belive it or not) I walked in to a pub on my own. | After writing my ODD Weblog the other day,I seem to be improving slightly. I think the act of actually writing the blog was cathartic(if thats the right big word to use). Since writing it I have almost gone back to my old self. I have left the house several times. Been out to lunch,and not once was I tempted to count the olives I ate. I went to a funeral,I went to the pictures(yes it was The Dark Night) And all the time I was out I never once thought about what wasnt being cleaned or ironed at home. | I have been acting slightly odd recently. Well,yes even more than usual.And I realised that I seem to be regressing back to alot of my negative behaviour from years ago. I had obsessive compulsive disorder. Not as bad as my sister,but I had things I needed to do. And I have noticed recently these things re-apearing. One of the things is cleaning. I clean and clean..and then clean some more.And then their is all the handwashing after I have touched something dirty,or taken my rubber gloves off. I also seem to be reluctant to leave the house. | Another one is over. Friends and family rallied round. Oh they have all been so good and supportive. Of course I am talking about my birthday. But it's slightly different this year. I don't have HIM around this year. 'Another year older another year wiser' they say. I don't actually think that applies to me somehow. I keep making the same mistakes. And its on days like this, Birthdays, that I stop and reflect and wonder....when is the wiser part going to catch up to the older part! | ||
