Rob & I have been somewhat busy of late - his mum had been diagnosed with terminal cancer back in August. She passed on a couple of weeks ago, we've been busy sorting out stuff since. We promise that in the back half of 2011 we'll sort our lives out & get a bit more sociable. We just need to get a whole bunch of things sorted.

| Hello lovely people - just a swift entry to say that Dad has finally got the results he needed, the flat looks like it's going to be rented out, and that things are looking like we might actually be getting our lives back in a couple of weeks - whoop whoop!!
My granny died a few months ago, just to make sure that the other side of the family got a look in on the drama front - and we're keeping an eye on grandad as a result - but all things considered, the old duffer's doing rather well [more...]

So I'm using up the contents of the freezer owing to the fact that I'm moving out of the flat tomorrow, and I've just eaten a rather old bit of salmon which had a rather interesting twang to its flavour. I couldn't eat much before I had to chuck it. Here's hoping I don't chuck up! | First off by Rebellion festival. And yup, Rob managed to survive a great deal longer than me. I blame my less than comfy boots He thinks it's hilarious that he outlasted someone 10 years his junior. He will die many years before me. | This is the sound of a Fred reversing. Things are not going to be easy, but they are worth fighting for. The weekend just gone was one of the hardest of my life, for reasons completely unrelated to our relationship. And yes, when life is hard, I can be a bitch. Add into the mix that I'd just passed the 3 week mark on the not smoking thing, and quite frankly yesterday was going to be a disaster. So, I have TG tickets for Saturday, but really don't want to go - we need some "us" time. | I called it quits with someone today. They are truly lovely. However, I have not got the energy to remove them from their shell. I feel so bad owing to the fact that they have pinned a helluva lot on the me & him thing working. Part of it was that I couldn't cope with the pressure. Wish me luck on the trying to feel like a nice person front. I can't make things better for him - what can people here direct him towards? I'm out of suggestions. | ||

| So I've been chatting with someone with a less than sunny disposition on life. I've tried my hardest to understand where they are coming from & promised to try to find him a suitable young lady to have a chat with. I asked him if he had an upper age limit. To which he replied 32, owing to the fact that apparently after that age, we all go a bit mental and turn men into "sperm donors". Now I'm 31 and a fair bit, and he's 31 and a fair bit more, I mildly took a bit of offense to this.
