Daddy pervified my bedtime story for me last night. It was Goldilocks and The Three Bears. Instead of Goldilocks fleeing the cottage upon being discovered, Daddy Bear and Mummy Bear end up imprisoning her and doing some very naughty things. Goldilocks has to give Mummy Bear kisses on her tingle button and then Mummy Bear holds Goldilocks down and makes soothing noises and tells her she has to be a good girl while Daddy Bear puts his pee-pee in Goldilocks' special place. | By dint of my own forgetfulness and poor forward planning skills, I went for about 4-5 days last week without taking my anti-depressants. When this has happened in the past, I'd resume consumption as soon as I remembered or as soon as I was able. This time however, I didn't do that. | As a pre-birthday gift to myself (or as a consolatory "oh my god I'm going to be 24 in 5 days time and then it'll only be a year until I'm 25 and then I'll be closer to 30 than I am to 20!" gift) I bought myself a wee sewing machine. | Despite having lived in Scotland for the whole 24 years of my existence, I am ashamed to admit that I have never been to the spectacle that is the Edinburgh festival(s). My parents' Calvinistic suspicion of anything so hedonistic as an 'arts festival' may account for a lack of festival go-age in my formative years but I have had no real excuse since I flew the nest and started eating Angel Delight for dinner just because I could. | Because I am a student and have far too much time on my hands, I have decided to start re-reading all of the Harry Potter books. (Again). This decision was prompted by my watching of The Half Blood Prince and once again feeling outraged that they ever cast Michael Gambon as Dumbledore. Srsly. He's so gruff and angry and pretty much as un-Dumbledore-like as it is possible to be. I played World of Warcraft pretty incessantly for the whole of 2006-2007. A particularly low point (or an AMAZING one – depending on your proclivities!) was spending New Year's Eve 2006 in-game with some of my guild mates (one of whom was a fourteen year old Serbian pyromaniac, if I recall) watching the fireworks over Orgrimmar (that's the Orc capital city for the uninitiated  ) atop a virtual hill.
