On Tuesday, my phone gave up the ghost of life it had been virulently clinging to for the past week and died. I swore when I arrived in the UK last year that I wouldn't be tied to an electronic leash, but it's gone and I WANT IT BACK NOW! I'm on a Pay as You Go O2 plan and their phones are so expensive so I've been trying to win one on eBay. Any money I may eventually save if I ever successfully buy a phone will go into subsidizing the other items purchased! <sob>

But to be honest, the reason I miss my phone so much is that I enjoy txting my friends during the day. My boyfriend, now on irc.bondage.com as LEtranger, is always busy in meetings but generally finds time to txt me back. In the rare occasions when his txt fails to make me smile, the vibration of the phone in my breast or front slacks pocket generally does the trick

Funny how apt the term electronic leash is for the tool I use to communicate with my Dom …
