One would think it was fairly straightforward to run a
fetish website - but sadly, it isn't.
For instance, the billing company who handles the
credit-card processessing "forgets" about 20 members of
the site and just erases them so you end up with lots of
angry emails from disgruntled customers.
Then, after adding them all in by hand, the billing
company decided it did know who there were after all and
re-adds them ontop of the manual accounts so that it all
goes horribly wrong.
Then, the company who hosts your site shuts down for 5
hours for some un-announced "maintenance" so that you
get a lot more angry emails from customers.
You decide to switch companies as they keep shutting
down for un-announced maintentance and all seems to go
well on the new site.
Then, the new company you moved to is bought over by
another and you are given 24hrs notice to completely
move servers again.
In the meantime the billing company has erased every
account from another one of your sites for no particular
reason so you get to do the manual account-adding all
over again.
At this point you wonder if the billing company are
really earning the 20% commision they take from
membership fees.
Then you get an angry email from someone who wants to
view the site using Netscape 3 Gold on a VAX.
Ontop of that you have to resist suicide after reading
100's of caption competition entries from people who
seem to think that anything they write will become funny
if they add enough exclamation-marks at the end of it
("HAHAHA THE GIRL HAS A BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHHAH!!!!!!
do i win?").
Repeat as desired......
I'd actually imagined that running a fetish site would
have gone something like :
Upload pictures, stories etc,
Get members,
Go shopping,
Repeat.
But alas, not
