| I've just finished watching "Juno" with my 12 year old daughter( yes I know it's a 15 before you start accusing me of being an irresponsible parent).
She is now upstairs in her attic room packing to go "home" tomorrow.
I can hear the bags rustling, her foot steps on the floor boards, the narration of the Alex Rider CD being played, cupboard doors opening and closing, sneezing because she is allergic to the cat!
It is always so very hard when she leaves.

| I haven't slept properly for months.....I wake between 03.00 and 05.00 stay awake for about 2 hours then sometimes I go to bed, sometimes I stay up!
I have tried all the remedies for sleeplessness ( apart from the medical ones-on too much other medication to do that!)
All the above leaves me listless and lathargic during the day...but I am recovering from surgery and I am told to rest...but then I feel guilty about resting so I manically attack household tasks and more leaving me exhausted....arrgghh!
Not being able to drive makes it worse-CABIN FEVER has well and truly set in now.

| Been scolded today by my physio for driving to hospital!
I decided to drive because I felt well and safe enough to do so-and because I couldn't get a lift for the appointment ( couldn't afford the taxi fare either!)
By all accounts if I was to suffer whip lash now I would brake my neck!
It will be at least another 4 weeks before I should drive..I feel trapped and helpless, always having to rely on lifts ( having to ask for lifts is bad enough)
At least I can shop via the internet!
I haven't driven (apart from today -naughty!!) for over 3 months....that includes a month in hospital!
