| I really miss my maid. She wasn't the most reliable in the world but neither was I. She worked hard and was a total star. She's been MIA for 6 months since falling in love. | I am less mental. 2011 is a winner so far. I felt I should mention this as a lot of my blogs have been depressing. I do however need to vent. Corsets. Why do they have to be so damned expensive? I know a lot of work goes into them but it's not fair. After keeping an eye on ebay for the best part of a year, I finally found a bargain, only to discover it had been listed under the wrong size. Grrr. Stupid ebay. Stupid corsets. Stupid waist size. | ||

| I am really envious of people who enjoy music from Beyonce, Christina Aguleira et al. That punchy female 'I ain't gettin' down' ass kicking vibe. The problem is I really don't like it. Do we choose music based on our mood or does our mood effect the music we choose? I am resisting the urge to play Apocalyptica's 'I'm Not Strong Enough' or other angsty emo stuff because it just makes me cry and while there is a time for letting all that out, what I need is some motivating stuff. | For those of you that don't know about this, it is the bonding hormone that floods into the body after labour and also after sex. It is 20 times more potent in women than men apparently. It is suggested that this may be why more men are able to detach sex from love and why some women may feel like they are in love with someone after having sex with them when they in fact are just flooded with hormones. I don't necessarily agree with this as I believe human beings are all different and find generalising statements based on gender to be really unhelpful. | Jumping on the xmas name change band waggon. I am usually really excited by xmas so going to try my best to be jolly and not to dread all the horrible things to do with it that are out of my control. I will deal with them as and when they arise and if all else fails, just hit the cooking sherry. Did I just say cooking sherry? OK I'm not that old. | It's been 7 months since I quit my job, lost my boyfriend and reappeared on the scene. I have been reading back over my blogs at the heart break, boredom, sexual frustration and confusion I felt at that time. Last night I read a blog written by someone that, despite being lost and missing out on opporunities, remained positive and determined to succeed. I considered my own position.
