| What is happening to this country? Jack Straw was heckled yesterday by an 80-year old labour party member who fled the Nazis in 1937. The man was manhandled out of the conference, as was the member sitting next to him who told the stewards they were out of order. Then the 80-year old was detained by police using the Terrorism Act when he tried to reenter - so much (again) for these draconian laws just being rushed through for dealing with terrorists.

| Google have indeed put up a new instant messaging system today, which you can already use if you've got a Google Gmail email address. (I'm uktanos@gmail.com on both.) The most interesting thing is that it's based on the open XMPP/Jabber standard and they've explicitly committed to "Client Choice", "Service Choice" and "Platform Choice"

| A while back I made a post about a "tray gag" I'd spotted on a picture of
Bridgett Harrington. Curiosity has overwhelmed me enough now that I emailed Bridgett about the source, and it's from Scott Paul Presents. As you can see on the site (it's under The Humiliator) it's part of a range of gag attachments: brushes, trays, coat hooks, insertables. Neat, but expensive though. |

| lili and I are heading off for London this afternoon: hopefully getting to the London Munch mid evening, and then at KinkFest and the after party all day. If anyone wants to say hello, we should be reasonably easy to spot: I'm 6ft with very dark hair and a full but shortish beard, and lili is quite petite and about 5'5", with black hair almost down to her waist. (I could also say we'll both be wearing black tomorrow, but that hardly narrows it down!) We'll probably be on the Kinklusive stall quite a bit of the day too.
