Well, came home from work last night, at around 1am, to find a delightful scene - my young lady, kneeling in my favourite position by the front door, with a rum and coke prepared, and a cigarette at the ready. Perfect :) Just thought I'd brag a little :):):)

weekend party

Hello there. Just back in from an extremely busy weekend, which I fully enjoyed, although must admit I'm now exhausted. Weekend BBQ and party, thoroughly enjoyed, even though fair amaount of travelling involved. Well worth the effort, though. Barbeque was excellent - and many, many thanks to the host for remmebering I'm vegetarian, and looking out for me. That was very considerate. In addition, I must say, that I felt privileged to get to play with a number of cracking people - an embarassment of riches, really, but enormous fun for me, nonetheless :) My apologies if I hogged the dungeon a little, and it was a shock to realise we were still playing when people were beginning to rise the following morning.....Nice to have the chance to meet some old friends, and met some very interesting new people, too - oh, and I'm apparently a pink and fluffy dom, which is nice...I think. Hmmm. Anyhow, gonna go to bed, as I've had about 8 hours sleep since Thursday, so I'm feelin a little jagged, and work in am. Take care.

nightshade for me

Hello there. Had weekend in Scotland, back to work today, but thought I'd write a quick one before out for evening. Went to Nightshade on Friday in Edinburgh, had a very enjoyable time. Met some nice people, but didn't get to chat with as many as Id've liked - isn't it always the way :) Played a little - (hope she enjoyed it :)) - and thought the food was exellent, a very nice touch. Must admit, part of the point of going to a club is to play, although I appreciate not everyone feels the same. Must give many thanks to C, for giving me a lift back to Motherwell, again. Most appreciated, and I look forward to seeing people up there again. Nuff for now, so take care.

nightshade - transport request

Hello there. Just want to be a little cheeky, really :) I've managed to squeeze a Friday night off, and I am able to get up to Motherwell, where I have accomodation - I live in Stockport, Manchester. I'd like to get to Nightshade if possible, as I've never been, and I've heard good things about it. Anyhow, if anyone can give me a lift there and back from Motherwell to Nightshade tomorrow, it would be most appreciated. I realise it's short notice, but I can live in hope :) Cheers.

ranting again - and I'm veggie :)

Hello there. Battered on pastis, so thought I'd rant, as I haven't written for a while. Been playing a lot with A, and nemesis last night with her, thouroughly enjoyed myself. Busy last night - quite a few faces I didn't recognise, and for those who read this I was in a blue suit and paisley shirt, smoking a cigar :) Maybe help put a face to a name for a few . Saw some really nice fire play, which I was interested in - quite impressive, and chatted to a few new people, which is always good to do. A seemed to enjoy herself, although she's a little sore today (:)), as am I where she bit me :) Damn, must remember to use more than just a hand to gag, in future ..... Car broke down on way home on M62, so AA called out :( Car's basically knackered, so will probably need to get another - very annoying. BBB last week, and A seems to know just about everyone, so got introduced to lots of people whilst going around - hello again, because I'm crap with names, but quite good with faces. After-party was a little odd - interesting venue, and enjoyed it, but a little cramped to swing me dragons-tail :) Nice staff, though. Noticed the previous blog on veggie food - been a vegetarian for about 20 years, myself, and really the main reason for me that veggie food is "meat substitute" is that meat is presented that way because it suits the human form - meat doesn't naturally come in sausages and burgers, after all, its just that those shapes and sizes suit peoples appetites, so it's fairly sensible that vegetarian food comes the same way. Just cause I'm vegetatarian doesn't mean I don't eat, you know, and anyone who knows me will vouch for me being far from squeamish. The current trend to have vegetarian food tasting like meat is, I must admit, a little odd, though - the soylent green reference is excellent, but why not reprocess people? See Peter Greenaway for further references, although the re-burger project of the Yes Men works too :) Anyway, I'm fairly gone, and rambling, and will probably regret posting this tomorrow, but seeya around.

Hello y'all. Lash last night, enjoyed very much as always. Couldn't stay very long, as I have my children this weekend, but I was able to get some childcare to midnight. Had to leave early :(, so not as much socialising as I'd like. Did get to spend a fair time playing, though :) A fairly quiet night, to begin with, although seemed to be picking up just as I was leaving - just to piss me off, I suppose :) Got to try out a little suspension under instruction - Thanks for that, T, - and got to use my favourite toy of the moment, the dragon's tail :) Of course, LJ upstaged effortlessly with a single-tail, and I'm only jealous. Git :) Feel a lot more confident doing suspension now, and will be a little more experimental in future (tries to show malicious grin). Said hello to a few people, and nice to see some familiar faces, even if I didn't get time to chat much. Time to occupy children for a few hours, so see y'all again soon.

Weekending at Nemesis, and A N other club

Hello there. Not written for a while, as I seem to revolve around lots of work for a few weeks, then some concentrated play for a bit. So, been to Nemesis for last two weekends, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I do like that place, and getting to meet some cracking people there. Got given a dragons tail a bit back by A, and I like it a lot, so she was subsequently practised upon for a considerable time (:)). Impressive toy, and I would guess that my accuracy is improving - well, the comments have changed gradually from "have you started yet?" to "bastard", anyway :) Went over to her house for dinner, and was fed wonderfully, with absolutely delcious vegetarian sushi, (yeah, I know - a few people have ripped the piss at the idea of a vegetarian that wants to be a Dom :)) and the ferocious wasabi being very high points in an outstanding meal. Thank you, A - you'd put a lot of thought and effort into it, and it showed :) Must admit, I tormented her a little later on, making her wear large knickers to Nemesis, but it was worth it, I reckon. My run up and weekend so far has been training on Thursday, Nemesis Friday, work Saturday day then Lifestyle munch for a little while in afternoon, (and another "happy birthday" to the birthday girl there) A N other club Saturday evening, then MFM on Sunday. Very enjoyable, if a little tiring. Working this week, training Tuesday and Thursday, and have my children this weekend - hoping to find a babysitter, to get to Lash on Friday for at least a few hours, though. Probably won't be able to get to Couch Club, though, which is a shame, unless I can twist someone's arm again for childcare. Got a week off next week, and may get to spend most of it working on my flat in Motherwell, so I've been looking around a little for things to do whilst I'm there - have written to a coupla people from here, but no-one available to show me around a little so far. Appears to be a couple of things on, though, Edinburgh and Perth, so if I don't get anywhere abroad, I'll try and get out to them.

Lash and Couch (or Ouch!) club

Hello there. Haven't posted for a while, very busy time over last few weeks. Working over weekend, but managed to juggle time to come out to play at Lash and Couch Club. Thoroughly enjoyed myself at both - but then I always enjoy going out to play :) Sorry if I hogged the bench too much, but I tried to use it well.....lass I was playing with, A, was good fun, and only mentioned the ropes being tight once ( :)), with the elbow cinch behind back cutting off circulation a little. Teasing me about whether I'd started with the flogger, too - I really must try harder :) Maybe I should set up an NVQ, and get myself assessed.....Seemed to be a busy night there, and nice to renew friendships and meet new people. Couch club is smaller venue, but nice equipment and a very friendly place. Plenty of play to be had, and lass I was with seemed to enjoy, so good evening all round. Do enjoy pushing a limit now and again, A, so looking forward to next time :) Violet wands and elecrical boxes are so much fun, although kissing was a little ouchy for me - but then again, I'm a coward and a wimp. Maybe that's why I wanna be a dom......
Series of Japanese films on at Cornerhouse cinema, so went to see Sword of Doom today, excellent, and looking forward to Onibaba tomorrow, so take care and seeya there.

Ranting again :) My cheerful self....

Well, had an extremely busy couple of weeks, hardly time to relax. Just the way work goes, really, sometimes get good blocks of time off and sometimes hardly any, and had to do a lot of running around to sort out car and job interviews. Finally got my car back, after over 2 weeks in garage, £900 to get through MOT, which I was not best pleased with. If I'd known that before starting the work, I probably would have scrapped it and got another. Still, done now and should hopefully last a while, and a relief to be mobile again.

Thanks to the Edinburgh munch people

Hello there. Very quick blog, as been a very busy couple of days. Went up to Glasgow on Wednesday, had interview on Thursday, went to munch in Edinburgh Thursday evening, back to Manchester on train this morning, straight to work for 12 hour shift and just home, so a little tired.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone I met there - was made to feel welcome straight away, although the 80 shillings probably helped :) Do like Scottish ales, but unfortunately my gut does too...Everyone very approachable, and willing to chat. Thanks to MsSpanky for offer, but didn't see it before I went. Extremely generous of C to give me a lift back to Motherwell so I could stay longer, so cheers for that, and I'm glad I went - had an enjoyable evening. Will take more cash next time - the little bring and buy seems an excellent idea, and I really liked the look of that horsehair flogger :), but didn't have cash with me :( Will try hard to make it to club next Saturday, if I can talk ex into keeping children for night. Will try some bribery :) Quick question about the club, for anyone that may know - what's the position on knife play? If I bring a knife or 5 (:)), will it cause problems or objections for entry?
Anyhow, off to bed. Take care.

Some people may wish to make valid comments, but be unprepared to have the comments attributed to them. Don't give a toss myself - as anyone that's read my blogs will probably gather, I have plenty of opinions, on just about everything, and am not averse to expressing them :), but just a thought for webmaster.

More on nazi symbols and expression

Gotta stick my oar in on this one - people play with the
imagery of all sorts of institutions, groups and
activities, and these are guaranteed to cause offence to
sone people. Good 8-). I have more of an issue of a
prince being a prince, than with the clothes that the
genetically limited abomination has on. IMHO, the
French and the Russians had the right idea about royal
families :) The life of privilege he represents is more
of a social injustice and insult than a party costume.
He represents for me nothing more than the spawned pup
of a long line of plunderers. The only reason that they
have wealth and authority to begin with is that over
time there family and proxies, the army, navy,
missionaries etc - ie their gang - has maimed, killed
and looted for it, demanded in taxation. Then they've
made rules to maintain a status quo that supports them -
laws and institutions- and enforces these rules with
more of their gang - legal system. I see no difference
in principle between this and any other gang anywhere -
any gang in any city is only trying to do the same,
after all, taking money, enforcing arbitrary rules, it's
just that HRH has the best resourced and oldest gang,
and can extort resources, ie tax, from more people.
Handful of people can have a bit of a say in it,
parliment, but tinker at the edges only, please, to look
effective. You've as much say in the gangs of Moss Side
or Brixton as the one in Whitehall... As for the meaning
of the symbolism, well, it was the petit-bourgeois, ie
the German equivalent of the Daily Mail reader, that
democratically elected the national socialist party into
power in the first place. I personally find the
ideology abhorrent, but that's democracy for you. Quite
enjoyed reading Nietzsche, though - much misrepresented,
I reckon. Democracy, or institutionalised mob-rule,
tends to be used when outcome is pre-determined and
useful, then held up as an example of it's authority and
efficacy. Yes, the swastika is a powerful symbol, but
there is nothing new about right wing symbolism, and for
example Egyptian, Roman, British Empire, Christian
imagery is played with - the only difference is they are
(mostly) further away in time. Every SM club has a
cross...As for wearing in a BDSM context, go right on
ahead. If you can't dress and express yourself in a
fetish club, then where can you? However, if you wish to
impose the ideology onto me, then we may have a somewhat
robust disagreement....As an aside, there are a few
groups around the world that are trying to
re-appropriate the swastika to its previous, ie pre
third reich, meaning, which was generally positive.
Ju-ju's are significant to a lot of people, and that
should be respected, but does not have to be agreed
with. I have no objections to anything that people
belive in - just don't expect me to necessarily share
them. If your beliefs are weak enough to be shaken by
what I say, then your beliefs don't have any strength or
value, and will not sustain you.

Rights, or lack of

Hmm, have thought about this kind of thing a fair bit
over years, and can quite understand Synical's
viewpoint. Would like to point out that in my humble
opinion, rights do not exist - all that there is, is a
privilege broadly agreed upon. There is not one single
behaviour that is agreed by every person on the planet
as being acceptable, and no behaviour that everyone
agrees is unacceptable either, and a right that you
personally cannot enforce, or can only insist upon after
its breach, is meaningless. As for someone breaking
into my home....a favourite saying of mine is I'd rather
be tried by 12 than buried by 6. Law is an imposed
system, with (usually) just enough of the illusion of
freedom to make it not worthwhile to fight against.
Law, and it's roots in religious moralities, is a con.
Everyone is free - if you just accept that it will have
consequences, you are capable of anything :) You have
but one life, and should take responsibility for it,
including the negatives. Ahh, I do like an inebreated
rant :) Seeya.

pissing people off and munch/couch club

Hiya. Not been online for a couple of days, and get the
feeling that I've seriously pissed some people off
without intending to. Don't really understand how - was
looking forward to weekend of play, and was told it
wasn't happening at short notice, so expressed annoyance
and disappointment, and this seems to have been taken as
me having a go. Far from it - have enjoyed playing with
this person for quite a while, and kinda thought that
she would've been pleased that I was looking forward to
spending what is to me a sizeable chunk of my free time
with her. However, I've been told in the past (by my
family) that I'm a bit of a newty get, and can come
across badly sometimes. So, S2S, if I have offended you
then please accept my apologies - none was intended, or
should be taken. It was certainly not my intention to
make you hurt, or angry, so if I can make amends, then
please allow me to do so. I hope your rekindled works
out for ya. If anyone has any issues with me, then I'll
be at Lash on Friday and we can talk through them, OK?
No need for mountains/molehills, and I'll buy the beer
and bring cigars.

A misunderstanding and reminiscence of throbbing gristle days

Hiyas all round. Just got up, read a couple of blogs,
and appear to have given wrong impression to SS - look,
I'm not pissed off with you, just with the situation.
Not personal, OK? I do appreciate the situation you're
in, and understand your difficulties, but I reckon that
I am allowed to be less than chuffed about it. I have to
plan things out in advance a lot, so short notice
changes leave me with little flexibility - my next full
weekend off is at the end of February, and with a little
more notice I could've made other plans for this
weekend, is all. Free time is valuable, and I like to
use it doing things. I mean you well, you know, and hope
you can get your head straight. If there's anything I
can help with, let me know - might not be able to do
much, as your issues aren't really with me, but I can
listen, opine and feed you chocolate if nothing else :).
And as for using big words, can't help it. Maybe it
just over-compensates for a little willy....:)

Me tuppenceworth on censorship....and note to Dizzi

Hello there. Been reading and hearing about the
censorship issues at the Beeb with some amusement. I
haven't had a TV for around 15 years, mainly because I
couldn't see the point in watching a censored medium in
the first place. Nothing I have heard or seen has
changed as far as I can see, and some tacky-looking
prurient abomination of an excuse for entertainment does
not seem worth fighting for, except on the point of
principle. Just seems a shame that I feel that I need
to defend something so crass to support a highter issue.
I would prefer to support something that I thought was
genuinely pushing at challenging ideas, institutions and
morality, rather than gawping at it. Ah well.
Personally, I really don't give a toss about peoples
religious sensibilities. I'm an atheist, and consider
all religions ultimately a desire to avoid facing the
reality of non-being. Fine if it works for you, but
don't honestly expect me to humour it, or think of it as
anything other than an emotional crutch. I was born as
a series of chemical reactions, I live at the moment
whilst the reactions sustain, percieving reality through
interpretation of sensations and development of
concepts, and one day I will die and be gone. That's it.
Assuming meaning and purpose is a childish irrelevance.
Ignorance of origins does not require mythology, just a
realisation of lack of knowledge, and certainly doesn't
need anthropomorphism. The only meaning that life has is
that which we give it. Religions offend me by their
existence, as I think that their existence misdirects
energies and imposes value systems that are byzantine
and nonsensical, but that's OK - in partial reply to
zaisan, freedom of speech for me includes the right to
offend people, and to take offence. I want to be
challenged, as that is how I develop and grow, and the
things that will challenge me will not necessarily have
meaning or relevance to other people. Problem is, that a
lot of people are not that secure in their own self, are
easily shocked, which is really a difficulty in
perception, cannot accept that ways of thinking that are
diverse from their own can still be valid, and will
suppress them, whereas I would say if you don't like it,
don't accept it. No one forces you to watch TV, no one
forces you to read - well, not once you've left
institutional teaching :)- you choose to do these
things. Just because a belief or value is shared does
not make it true. Being an adult is accepting who you
are, and taking responsibility for it. Just my most
humble opinion. Anyway, enough of my little rant :)

A quick one

Hiya. Back in from work :(, reality bites with a
vengeance. Ah well, must gain a crust somehow, just
wish that job didn't take up so much of personal
capacity. Anyhow, very enjoyable evening at Nemesis
last night, as expected. I do enjoy playing, and take
advantage of the opportunity when it arises 8-), and
I've now been reliably informed that even though we call
subs
rotten, all doms are liars and the worst sluts of
all.....(ain't that right, J? :)) I was shocked and
stunned to hear it, I tell yer. I always considered
myself as a fine, moral and upstanding pillar of the
community. And then to be told that I looked ordinary,
well, really =-o. O tempora, o mores.....;)
Good to meet some new people, and always nice to meet
people I've met before. Terrible with names, but
recognised quite a lot of faces. Funny how sometimes
they're easier to recognize when contorted and
screaming, isn't it? Especially nice to bring a tear
and smile to a face at same time..... Pleased that sub I
played with enjoyed the evening too, and hope that the
new year brings good things. First time I'd played with
the electrical box, but it won't be my last, I reckon.
Combined with knives it's excellent! Must go to bed now,
as up for work in morning. Next day off not for a week
now, unfortunately, so mebbe seey'all Friday at Selecta.
Take care.

Back to semblance of reality, mores the pity

Hiya. Spent christmas in glasgow, and got to spend time
with my children, which was nice. PS2 for 1, and game
boy SP for other went down well, so pleased they're
happy with them. Came back to Stockport last night, and
got call from the sub I've been playing with. Went
over, and another dom, A, came over as well. I've met
him before, and seem to have got on well, so nice to
meet him again. I was there really as the "spare",
offering (im)moral support :) and I was honoured to be
there really. Won't spoil the tale, as I'm sure that
she'll have some ramblings on it :), but it was a good
evening for me. Would've liked to have played a little
more, myself, but situation didn't seem right for that,
somehow, and I didn't want to be a prick and force the
issue. I'm sure you all know how petulant an egocentric
dom can be...and there's already enough arseholes to
go round :). So, hope you're not too sore, and I'll look
forward to Nemesis. And as for you, wench, I reckon
we'll have to gang up on you together in a club at some
point soon :) In consequence, I went home, few drinks,
movie - black angel 2, japanese gangster/revenge stuff,
pizza, feeling a little battered and thought I'd write
this. Perfectly lucid to me at moment, and I'll
probably read it tomorrow and think it's gibberish, as
usual :), but it doesn't matter. Glad to be home and
relaxed. Not back to work for a couple of days yet, and
still some relaxing to do, so cracking open another
bottle of pastis and chillin. Seeya later.

Hello again. Read my own blog for yesterday. Hmmm.
Shouldn't be allowed near these computer things when
battered, really - I can talk as much shite as the next
man :) Not much to say, other than I've been playing
with a sub for quite a few weeks now, and I'm pleased
that she seems to have enjoyed me. Probably not going
to see her again before xmas, so just wanted to wish her
all the best publicly, as it where. If I don't seeya
before, then nemesis NYE is looking good, and I look
forward to it. Hope your bruises have gone down a little
by then, so I can work on some new ones :)
Just like to say that I've met some cracking people here
in Manchester / NW, dom(mes), subs, fetishists in
general, and feel that I have benefitted from the
experience. May it continue in the new year in similar
vein. So if I don't get chance to write again before
xmas, have a ripped one, and I'll see y'all agin soon.
What would I like for christmas? 1 Blonde, 1 brunette,
1 redhead, saturdays lottery numbers and world
domination by breakfast. Might as well, ey? Can only
ask.....
