| When I first joined IC I read a lot of stuff here and on other websites that I found by surfing from people's favorite links. I guess a lot of the people who were active on the site had been around a while and had formed a consensus about what Ds should be. Their favorite links lead to sites that reinforced that consensus. Sites that said: this is what a submissive should be, this is how a submissive should act. Looking back, those sites have been put up by people trying to define how they would like things to be and experience has taught me that things are different in reality. [more...] | |||

| I dropped an egg on the floor. It was rather annoying. I was making an omlette and I'd cracked the first egg into a bowl and my fingers were slippy with the goo. | Took a little walk to the post box today. It was raining that soft summer rain you can walk about in all day and not really feel wet. I love that kind of rain. | I've always had this thing about natural slapstick. It's the one thing that will make me laugh hysterically. Giggling I can do pretty much anytime someone comes near me with evil intent, but the hysterical laughter takes more effort. By natural slapstick I mean those moments in which accidents happen in the natural course of things and produce an absurd result. You see them all the time on You've Been Framed, but many of those are staged and it's not live. It's like the difference between watching a concert on the telly and actually being there to witness the moment yourself. [more...] | |||
