I have just witnessed a rather distasteful example of bullying on this website. I was astounded to see one post that was totally at odds with my thoughts and posted myself. It appears someone who works for Edinburgh Waverley station does not like me. Not only was my train back to the usual up and over platform 8 but my inbound is also now a through train. This meant than I had to go up and over to get to the coffee shop and then up and over to get to the London train. [more...]

It is hard to convey how much pleasure can be brought about by such a simple piece of information. Every Monday, for the last few months, I have turned around at Edinburgh Waverley train station at 6:30am to read the usual phrase "London Kings Cross, Platform 9". However, this morning it read "London Kings Cross, Platform 11" which was such a nice surprise that I actually smiled at this god forsaken hour. [more...]
