Well where to start...
I think I have to say a huge well done; To the organisers who arranged everything, the volunteers who gave their own time to work hard setting up venues, all those who spoke, demonstrated, and manned the stalls, the traders who came along, and finally everyone who came from all the corners of the UK.
I had a great time at Lash, finally meeting a few people who up until now have just been nicks posting in various forums, there was both Mistress Vamp and Monkey, Ms Goth, Arwen, and Demolition Red to name a few, along with catching up with other people I see on a regular basis. I also had chance to get two nice young ladies over a bench and have some fun.
Up late meant no chance to get food so we were starving by the time we got to the daytime event and after watching the electrical demo we headed off for a quick snack, unfortunately we arrived late for the interrogation workshop and couldn't see or hear too well, so that's one we hope to get chance to see again, I mentioned in a reply earlier that the edge play aspect has me intrigued. After a look around the stalls we headed for the whip demo... (OK, I Love whips and am going to say a bit more about this one) Blue Velvet and cerberus did a fantastic job, they cetainly opened my eyes to what can be done with a whip, and have had me working out if I can afford (yet) another whip (and I don't think I'm the only one)...
We headed of to the Retro for a drink afterwards and reflected on the day, everyone was extremely positive and had their personal favourites from the events. There were a few crticisms, but all very constructive in nature. Having been to one of the planning meetings I know the team of organisers are already aware of all of them, and considering the time frame within which Kinklusive has been arranged and the constraints of finance, people, time to book venues, availability of venues, and god knows what else that we don't know about, well it says a hell of a lot that we had such a great day, and again the organisers should be congratulated.
Sunday saw us getting breakfast at the retro before heading to the Kinklusive Klinic at MUD, brilliant... What more can I say, thank you very much to everyone who spoke or acted as a demo bunny, and the handout is one that I think should have a wider circulation, is there any chance of making it available? Perhaps an address people can send an SAE to?
A brilliant weekend, when is the next one?
