| Today my eldest daughter sat her final exam at Uni, so there will be big celebrations here this week. It's been a hard six years for her and she's worked very hard against all the odds and come through it and stuck with it when most people would have just given up. I'm so proud of her and so happy that she can now plan the rest of her life from a better position. Also my work is done here now; I can make plans for my own life and do what I want with it for the first time since I was sixteen years old. So lots of changes for us all on the horizon [more...]

I couldn't believe it last night, when I went to the fridge for the milk for my late night Shreddies binge, that I'd actually been to the shop an hour or so before and forgot to buy any milk! I was equally miffed when I reached for the kettle this morning after getting back from the supermarket with gallons of milk, to find the empty jar of coffee sat on the kitchen counter.
