I've done something a bit rash and bet a mate that Alexandra won't win, and she's getting closer and closer to victory. The trouble is, of the ones left in, I wanted her to win the most. It was a bet borne of fatalism, and now if Dermot does yell out her name, any pleasure I may have had will be tempered.
