| Right, so, here's what happened. A nice guy - go on, shudder and roll your eyes... OK, now you've done that, so we got in touch. He said he was only looking for friendship. I fancied him, but reckoned he'd be fine as a friend: win/win. Exchanged a lot of messages. Met up. Got on. Planned to meet again (he lives a long way away). | He is just in front of me, easily within reach. His head is about level with my rib-cage and even just this thrills me, shocks me slightly - like when you stand on a chair and see a room from a new angle. He looks down, seemingly focused on some point in the carpet just beyond his knees. In the quietness I can just hear his breathing, but it's hard to tell how much I really hear and how much I imagine from watching his chest rise and fall, in quick shallow breaths. | OK, so I decided to go cold turkey on the magic wand, for lots of reasons. Daily use of it probably isn't the wisest way to treat precious nerve-endings. Sooner or later I want to make myself learn other ways of getting there, and experience shows I just won't if I know it's an option.
