| We'd been to Afterlife, back in November or December, it was their first night in the 'new' downstairs venue and it was cold. Play was not really on our minds due to the temperature, and a lot of other people seemed to feel the same way. The organisers were doing their best but at fairly short notice they were being beaten by the low outside temperature. [more...] | ||

| Its snowing. Huge fluffy flakes like big white feathers cascading down past the window. The cat is sitting on the window sill watching it. Every so often I hear her claws scrabbling at the glass as one drifts too close and she has to attempt to catch it. At least it is a change from her trying to 'catch' the birds that fly up and down and startle her out of her doze as they pass the window too closely. | ||

| Once again Games Night rolled round. We took in a couple of games with us, last month there were so many of us we had to split into two gaming groups, this time we were seven. Too many for most games and not really enough to split the group. So we played Bohnanza, a Spiel Des Jahres Nominee in 1997. German games are for the whole family and this one is quite addictive. | I enjoy the television series, Come Dine With Me, where five strangers are put together and eat at each others houses over the course of five nights. Each person takes it in turn creating a memorable meal for the other four whilst the aforementioned other four people have a snoop all around the house and make comments about the decor, their host's dress sense and organisational skills and, finally, the food. During the week as they get to know each other, personalities clash and friendships are forged. | We'd been invited to a Fetish dinner party and I'd had scant information about it passed to me by the Domly One. I sent off a request for more information to the Lady of the house. She replied, told me other people who were going and suggested a couple of 'games' that might be played. I was content, I had my info and could plan my behaviour accordingly. | On Tuesday we went to the Ayrshire munch. This munch used to be a busy one but for reasons I have no knowledge of it's been a bit quieter over the past few months. A bit of a shame really as it's one of the friendliest munches in Scotland. We used to grab fish and chips on the way there but now the munch has moved to a different venue which serves food we wait until we get there before ordering dinner. Two meals for under £7 if you choose from a certain small section of the menu, and there's stuff on there we're happy to eat so it's actually a good bit cheaper than stopping on the way down for two [more...] | ||

| I used to read a lot of weblogs on here. I'd browse through ones with titles that caught my eye, or read ones by people I know. Now the good ones are being buried under a ton of innuendo and unpleasantness, vague blogs that accuse without a target, blogs where names are not named but the people in that circle know who is being talked about.
