So, how was our stay at Victorian Dover?

Well, Chrissie (owner) was very enthusiastic and helpful in answering all our queries before we went. She went to the trouble of following my link to our homepage and it transpired we had some shared fetish history, in a way; she was then able to advise us on how we might get the most from our stay whilst we were there. Cryptic, non?

Directions were easy and parking free right outside the door. Once we arrived we were shown around and Chrissie apologised for not replying to my e-mails immediately, but it transpired that her partner had had some serious emergency medical issues; we were frankly amazed she was open to guests at all.

Despite it being 15 minutes before check-in time, we were cheerfully shown around and Chrissie gave us a tour of the spectacular Victorian house, its rooms, bedrooms, dungeons and soon-to-be schoolroom. She then showed us to our room, which comes complete with a Bondage Bed (Google it, it's great). The room also had en-suite spa bath/ jacuzzi, sink and shower (toilet is a few strides from the room). In addition, there were a few toys in the bedroom to use if we wanted -we'd brought our own though- and a huge selection of teas, a coffee percolator, hot chocolate, lollies, candy canes and loads of other sweet treats; all the things discerning perverts need for a weekend away.

Despite the stunning view from our room we were, ahem, eager to enjoy the facilities and all the staff waited for us to re-appear (a few hours later) before giving us our keys for the front door. Chrissie was cooking and offered us the chance to join everyone if we wished, but we were planning on "eating and fucking" as Jess put it, so we were provided with loads of takeaway leaflets and advice on the best ones, who delivered etc. We also sorted out breakfast for the following morning, which was on the house, as it was unable to be served as they usually do it, with the dining room fully dressed.

So, anyway, we soon got around to using the upstairs dungeon (although equipment in the room was perfectly adequate) which has a huge selection of toys and furniture to which you can help yourself, remembering to clean everything and put it back afterwards! It's not the biggest or best dungeon ever, but really, if you were paying just for a dungeon, it would be a bargain even without the accommodation thrown in. Oh, and if you're into floggers, this is paradise!

Breakfast the next morning was duly served to our room, and was huge! Despite being more than a little full afterwards, Jess and I made the most of the remaining time, which had been extended as Chrissie told us to check out when we wanted, because no-one was arriving immediately after us. So, we cleared up at our leisure, had a spa and went on our way.

In all honesty, we couldn't have asked for more from everyone there and we are already planning our return trip. You're totally welcome to use the whole house as you wish during your stay, and free to wander around likewise; it's more like visiting a fetish friend's house than a B&B and that, as far as we can tell is the best way to do it.

Thanks to everyone there who gave us such a fantastic weekend; I pulled a few muscles during it and then had no way to explain to my colleagues why I was so shagged out and sore. Here's to many more awkward explanations...

My Master and i have visited the Victorian Dover twice now, and look forward to going again. The first time was in 2005, after our collaring ceremony, where we stayed there for 3 blissful days. Chrissie is awesome, friendly, and so helpful, the house is most spectacular as You know, and having full run of the house, well, who can fault it....... lol
So glad You had a good time, we have recommended it to quite a few people in the circles Master and i are involved with, and have had several couples go there after hearing of it from us. It is truely a wonderful place, a lovely 'Home from Home' ....... lol
