The run-up to yesterday's LUXE involved more mishaps than the previous two parties put together! (Yep, Kali_Ma, I'm doing that thing again, as you foretold that I would !) As the list of issues/problems that we had to deal with grew daily, and everything that could go wrong seemed to do so, I started to wonder whether the third party was actually fated not to happen or, even worse, to go horribly wrong. But actually- and despite a stack of stuff not going to plan on the day itself- everything just sort of worked out. Life is packed so full of the most painful ironies, sometimes, and this week has been much more difficult to cope with than I had anticipated. Only one month ago things seemed to be looking so positive for me- at last, after so many obstacles and so much bad stuff and pain in my life up to this point- I was on the verge of getting something that I really, really wanted. I could hardly believe it, but it seemed that the one thing that I longed for was actually, really, going to happen for me. I felt so lucky, and so blessed.
