| .. My oldest son is officially wearing my Saturday outing and phone bill. gone are the days when we made costumes. It is all now big money. I may go offline for a few days soon. Still.. he doesnt ask for much so once in a blue moon when he really really wants something and actually tries negotiating by downsizing his xmas list then I will accomodate and shift things around. | I recieved a text message via my landline phone. I am with talk talk. The automated woman spoke out the message but I didnt catch it all due to noise in the background. Does anyone who is with talk talk know the number to retrieve a text message from a landline? I tried the BT's number but that doesnt work. I cant seem to find the answer on talktalk's info page. | ||

| Went to visit my work placement in Glasgow today. Fantastic!! Then met up with my friend for lunch ( your a star!) and time just flew in. Then got home and an old flame turned up and left me lots of bottles of concentrate for me to make some ginger wine, the way my mum used to make it, laced with whisky!.. of course I will do some non alcoholic ones as well... but will be looking forward to it. Always warms me up on a cold winters night. If anyone in Scotland has tasted this stuff,( it's hard to come by unless your mum or grannie or wee woman doon the road has sent some up,) you can't get it in [more...] | ||

| does anyone know a reasonably priced place where I could purchase some clothing which depicts the 1940's?. I have to do a hair style from that era and we need to dress the model up to look the part. tob e hoenst I'm starting tog et hacked off at paying out for clothing when I am signed up for Hairdressing but stuff it, if I'm going to do it I might as well do it right. My model unfortunately is larger than myself and taller so anything I buy I will probably not be able to reuse unless alterations are done. | in my last blog I asked for suggestions on how to lift depression without going to the docs or turning to the chocolate. Well I am watching my diet. I beleive the most chocolate that has passed my lips has been a bag of malteasers. I have also rested up a lot and been walking, plus a major stressful day at college is over and I failed at it miserably, ( although the model says she was happy with it I know it was bad), so I'm moving onto something else that I can put my personal stamp on. | ..please on how to get out of a depression without going to the doctors and hitting the meds. An upset I had at college in the week combined with my dieting has now seen me drop a level in happiness and every so often I think I'm all right then out of the blue the tears just flow. It only takes a simple thing to trigger it which normally wouldn't bother me so I know I'm on a course for unpleasantness which I am not keen on going down. I can't let it go any further or it could spiral out of control but I'm reluctant to hit the chocolate or the doctors. | ||

| Had a bad morning at college. Tried to explain to my tutor about the problems with regards to not being shown how to do something and instead of supprting me and saying ok will show you, she chose to become defensive and make out she had done everything required. I ended up walking out of class really upset. Apparently she felt offended that I had to turn to another tutor to show me what I required and she felt I had demeaned her. [more...] | ||

| I am looking for peacock feathers at a decent price. So far I have found a place which sells 200 for £57 with free delivery. I think thats a good price. | Well this is my last day before I head back to college full time for the final year of Hairdressing within that particular college unless they decide to put on an HNC level next year. I will not hold my breath for it. I took a walk up this morning to get paperwork signed and matriculation card printed and came back with neither done as they are not ready yet but had a lovely chat with one of the tutors. | .. well it is two weeks till I am off on my last rally for me of the year and it's busy this direction getting names together of the friends who are going to party. I don't know if anyone from here goes along to this but it's a great rally with a really good happy party vibey atmosphere, even if the weather is lousy and half the camp looks like you can have a mud wrestling match in it which personally I dont see that as a fault at all. The irish contingent come over for this one and there are singsongs and copious amounts of drinking contests to entertain myself with. I'm going to really miss the [more...] | ||
