| Well at long last DAs has finally got me a ring!!! It's beautiful, Whitby jet set in white gold - just what I wanted. I'm so chuffed with him. Haven't told my relatives yet cos it's my brother's wedding on Friday and I don't want to be accused of trying to upstage him, I'll let the cat out of the bag when that's over with. It's about 6 months since he asked me to become an honest woman (LOL and if you believe that.......) so it's about time I had something to show for it. | Hi there!!! At long last I've got back to my computer for a short while. It's looking pretty good at the moment, the leukaemia is still in remission, but I've still got 4 months of chemo to go before I go onto tablets. I've recently completed my radiotherapy and my poor head is bald and cold. Saying that I've had offers of painting it with food colouring and placing me as an instalment for the Turner Prize (thanks minxy, I love you too LOL). [more...] | ||

| It's my first time back at the keyboard for quite a number of weeks. As some of you know I've not been a very well bunny for some time, and about 7 weeks ago I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. I'm so glad to be out of hospital for a few days to get my life sorted out a bit, there is only so much that one can do when tied up with drips and wires and chemo and stuff. [more...] | ||

| It's official - I'm a bloody wreck. 7 weeks of hell from the onset of the pharyngitis to various aches and pains and general lethargy. I've been back to A & E again this evening after dislocating my right shoulder yet again, this time I did it just pushing myself off the sofa. At least they have arranged for me to start physio and follow up sessions to find out what's wrong. [more...] | ||

| I'm just bloody glad and relieved to be online tonight. Got rushed into hospital after feeling pretty grotty at work yesterday lunchtime. I couldn't breathe and it felt like someone was sat on my chest. My colleagues rang for an ambulance and they stuck me on oxygen to get my levels back up again. [more...] | ||

| Had the day off work today, had an appointment at the docs. Have been feeling a bit ropey all week and lost my voice 3 days ago but battled on regardless, but today the sore throat and voice loss turned into a lump in my throat that I just couldn't swallow, you know the type, the sort that's just stuck in that place that makes you gag.......
