I nearly gave the whole lot up last weekend. I weighed up the pros and cons of my beloved Dungeons against the fact that my family had been dragged into a war that was nothing to do with them. I need to replace the boiler in my Dungeon and some taps in my house. (I also have a gas fire that needs looking at!) Are there any plumbers in the Manchester area that will give me a decent quote for the job? I'm sure I can think of some added incentives for anyone who does the job for a good price.... Ever had an idea which is vague and complicated and may evolve into something completely different by the time it's finised but you know that somewhere in there is a really good idea?? But you can't explain it to someone else because you don't have the words and you don't know where you are going with it anyway?? The problem is that I need people to support my idea before I can begin to work on it. But people won't support something that doesn't yet exist and can't be explained. But it can't exist unless people support it..... See? I'm talking bollocks! So I'm getting nowhere. And it's so frustrating! [more...]
