| Although to be fair - I didn't really see much of this one! I like the feeling of not 'having' to rush about and get out the door - that's a bit of a rarity for me. | I found out at about 2am this morning that I'd got the first of my exam results back - I am a very happy bunny indeed - though I think I'm still rather shocked - I did MUCH MUCH better than I'd expected (which was bordering on a fail in my mind)so somehow coming out with an A grade - and my second equal highest mark ever isn't bad at all! | Dammit they are driving me crazy - I come home the other day to find a shelf pulled down off my wall and my make-up strewn all over the bedroom. They've just pulled down all my camera equipment and ripped my lamp shade and not only that they have worked out how to use a pedal bin and have made a mess in the kitchen and are now wandering where they shouldn't be! | I'm a keen recycling freak - I'm always separating paper etc and popping it in our recycling bins - it's so easy to do there's little excuse for anything non-recyclable ending up in the wrong bin! [more...] | ||

| NOT having a good day. Didn't start well as at 2am I was trying to sleep but failing miserably - I was feeling sick and trying to put off the inevitable. Managed to survive till 3am when I realised I was going to be sick immediately so had a quick sprint to the loo. Stomach wasn't settling very quickly so was up till quarter to five when I finally felt I could sleep again. Alarm was set for 7.30 - I changed it to ten to eight to gain a few minutes. Alarm went off all too soon and I got up, supped coffee and drank lots of lost water. Phew I was keeping it down. [more...] | ||

is coming a week early here, I love choosing what to cook but I am a bit of a stickler for tradition. The last few Christmas's I've spent at my sister's house where we have a lovely meal on Christmas day - but it's never a 'Christmas' dinner - there's no turkey, no goose, no glazed ham. Much as I love lots of different foods I do really enjoy a simple Christmas Dinner which to me is Turkey and all the trimmings. So I'm doing my own - a week early  [more...]
