To The Lovely Lady We Partied With Tonight

Offed to a private party in High Wych this evening, with John and Sandy. Can't say much about that obvs, other than it was a good night, and the hostess had a cracking cheeseboard and lovely dogs! But when we left, the snow was already falling and settling, copiously. Before we'd even let, we'd agdreed that sexy was out, and warm n practical was in! However, I did manage a mini dress, suspender tights and over-the-knee boots, plus my lovely real fur coat.

Corsets and Diamonds

Corsets and Diamonds - Pirates night. Well, after dragging Miss Havisham, aka Demmi, a short walk, which included a hill. Much huffing and puffing and a lie down on a market stall. Mucho complaining and some singing about marching for Palestine. I despair of her going to Palestine, she can barely make a minor London hill. Faeryboi helped a lot by whipping her with a cutlass, but I'm thinking a cattle prod might be more effective. But we got there in the end!!

teh foxxx!

I went to see the foxxx after work yesterday. She recognised my voice straight away, and I can't tell you how pleased that made me! She's still tubed up, and looks a bit like she's been in a boxing match and came 2nd, but goodness, a significant improvement. I'm amazed and sooooooo grateful! Her left side seems to be functioning too. Mark and her son say she's really rallied lots today, and has even sat up.

She also amazed me by remembering that we were going pirating this weekend. She would've been late of course :-D

Hopefully, she'll be able to see visitors in a week or so. I went in twice, but she really was awake only for a few minutes at a time. She is still on a critical ward, and it's still sterile, so no cards or flowers until she's been moved. Her son has instructed not to let anyone see her unless he gives permission, and rightly so, she is still very poorly. Please respect his wishes, and bear in mind that both he and Mark are having a stressful and emotional time. She will need lots of visitors in the coming weeks, so hang on a bit :)

I won't update until next week, unless there's some major news. But thanks to everybody for their positive thoughts and love. I think it's helped!

foxxx - update

Foxxx was involved in a minor crash on the M4 on her way to work this morning. Unfortunately, that resulted in something nasty.

I'm not sure I'm doing the right thing here - but foxxx was involved in a car crash and is currently in surgery with a head injury. Her son is apparently there, and another friend is on the way. As soon as I have an update, I'll let people know.

Up at 6am this morning. Slightly flustered as I knew I had something important to do, but I couldn't remember what for a few minutes! Came downstairs, bebe was online, so chatted to him for half an hour. Not encouragement, rudey stuff! And he told me to have cereal, so I did, LOL. Faeryboi arrives, and off we set to Lunnun.
