| We did the screen test for A Place in the Sun and had an interview for the nice telly lady, and it went well. She's coming back to us on Monday with filming dates, it'll be done in May, but not televised until 2009 I think she said. If we can get 2 weeks off of work at the same time, it's probably a go-er. Hard for me, as my boss is off very ill, and I feel terrible about asking for time off when we're already really short handed, so we'll see. [more...]

| The Ladies' Munch was very, very funny last night. I don't think I stopped laughing. Because of the way we do it - lots of us round one big table, the 4 new gerls blended in seamlessly and it seemed like they'd always been there, which is nice. I had meant to leave early, but it didn't happen. Instead, I got nicely merry, caught up on all the goss, met new people and generally had a bloody good time! [more...]

| Just back from the hospital. He's looking well, although he does have facial bruising and bloodshot eyes from vomitting so much. He's on antibiotics and painkillers of course.
