| I think anyway. Certain places hurt less, the infections seem to be a bit better especially the uterine one which is good news. The haematoma feels more painful but the midwife today says it seems OK right now. [more...]

| I'm starting to get recognised on sight at our local A&E. On 25th I went in for infection and was told I had none, just irritation. 26th in the evening was rushed there again in a very bad state and different doctor said I have deffinate infection, 2 in fact. [more...]

| It has been a very long week since baby 'George' was born. She has been wonderful but had her days and nights mixed up when she came home which has made things hard at night twice. Last night was blessedly stress free thanks to alia71 and her expert baby advice. Unfortunately today has been a day of baby narcolepsy. [more...]

| If I don't get to log in tomorrow morning, I am off to hospital early in the morning to be induced, less that 10 hours until my appointment. It may take a day, it may take longer... we don't know but I won't be back until our baby is born. [more...]

| Been to hospital, baby is very nearly in position but needs to be a touch lower down, she's not wanting to move yet so they have started me off on a milder form of induction today and booked me in to the labour ward friday for full induction if it doesn't work. [more...]

| *phew* I can relax now, my customer who I coulndn't get in touch with is OK, they had to work away for the week and forgot their mobile to call me and didn't have net access. I'm glad their health wasn't to blame but now they have to wait until after the birth as they want to come this friday instead and I don't know if I'll be out of hospital... and if I am I doubt I'll be in a fit state for a customer! Boots as in the shop, not footwear (as I can't even get mine on now *pout*). Went in to get some new TENS maternity electrodes as mine are loosing stickiness, they didn't have any in stock - they offered to order some in but it would have taken too long and I said I'd be induced before then. 10 minutes later she'd been to see her manager and had a pack of the pads out of a machine they sell, and handed me those, said they can order in replacement to go in the machine box.
