DAY 3 – We still had the door knobs to fix into place and to trim all the tails of the floggers so that they were all exactly the same length. We had loads of house work to do, food to buy, people to see. So, again, no time for play in the empty house. Oh yes and we needed more Chem. Met. – yes MORE!! Reluctantly we both realised that if we are actually going to use these floggers before the kids start their holidays then we have to finish them tonight. So all we have to do is cut 3 strips of silicone rubber (from the trivet) for decorative finish to the end of the handle and glue them in place. [more...]

DAY 2 – After the kids are out the way we head off to the shops for more Chemical metal. The tube of yellow hardener that comes with Chemical Metal contains mostly air (that's probably why it squirted every where on Day One) this is a bit of a rip-off as we still had loads of the grey fixy stuff left. We also were on the lookout for something we could use to make our leather or suede flogger. Oh yes we need more ball chain too. My wife and I were sitting on the sofa last week. Both of us were on separate laptops both surfing IC at the same time. She happened to show me a webpage with instructions on how to make your own flogger. We agreed to give it a go. “Each flogger should take just over an hour to make” says the blurb. Now it so happens that I was off work a week before our children finish school, and as my wife had finished university for the summer we had a week to ourselves (this is a rarity). When I married My wife 'Sylvan' I also gained two children. Just over a year later we had our own daughter. Well today, for Fathers Day my family clubbed together and bought me an MP3 Player. After opening the cards and the present and thanking my wife and children I sneaked of for a wee cry. I was just so taken by their love and it really hit me hard. Being a dad means you just get on with the job. I work 9 - 5 in an I.T. job (not that well paid unfortunately) and have another job on the side. My children are 14, 10 and 4yrs. I always thought my 30-something years were the best of my life. During these years I got really settled with who I was, what I was. I was happy with my sexuality. I was content with my personality.
