| In the beginning was a nobody really,just me learning as much as possible until puberty ran out! Girls were for fun then and the odd spot of fumbling in dimly lit stairwells or babysitting in the front room between the needy wailing of the kids.As things,ie sex,and girls, got more complicated from the first time at seventeen until I reluctantly married at twenty five and soon discovered that going to bed with the same person every night was pretty much like stamp collecting! | Well despite some of the''information'' given to us prior to this radio/chemotherapy thing begginning,I'm pleased to report that all the expected side effects they told me to be aware of,haven't happened!....No sickness,nausea,mouth ulcers etc. O.K. so I'm bald.but thats only partially down to the radiotherapy. | I'm sitting here like a complete fraud at the moment.We've had the biopsy thing,last Monday a.m. and it all went rather well.Surgeons/Doctors etc were superb.The nurses and hostipal staff all supportive.All I have to do now is wait until Friday morning for the result and if this little bugger in my head isn't a big bad nasty aggressive little bugger,the experts can have another go and piss it off with Chemo or Radiation. | Well after a season of McLaren ''subterfuge'' and mistruth we finally got the result the ''sport'' really needed.I'm as patriotic as the next bloke,but the behaviour of McLaren this year made my favourite telly pastime pretty sad! They were nowhere last season and Big Ron's entourage must have spent a fortune and still tried to stiff the genuine opposition. | ....and my god,has'nt it changed?.It's the first time since February we thought,but we knew a couple of friends would be showing up so we made the effort and set off for Brum.Two of the carparks we used to use had gone, so we did the multi storey across from the old one.The new venue looked seriously impressive at the entrance where we caught up with our friends in a small gathering with a few more of our old friends.For a few moments it looked like we were all being held to one side because we were all approaching old age at a rate of knots and the powers that be did'nt want us frightening the [more...] | ||

| Just a huge thank you to all the people who made it to the party we threw at ours last night,and especially 'Fifi' (aka suzee,)our new part time maid who looked so stunning for our guests as they arrived.Thanks every one old and new who came and helped me total the kitchen making the food.My Sue loved the flowers and we'll both enjoy all the wine you brought and didn't manage to consume.We'll drink what we can,but I've a feeling most of it will still be here for the next bash....hopefully in the summer when I've Moteed the barbeque.Thanks again for making it a great night and we'll see you all [more...] | ||
