| One of the features of Twitter is that not only can people post messages, but it can easily be used to post updates from an automated service. For instance you could have a Twitter service that would tweet the current number one song in the charts, or the current weather in Cambridge, or the FTSE value. Or more specifically A to D because my cardigan groover teenage son's birthday request was for a vinyl spinner on which to play all the old Jazz LP's left to him by his grandfather. My son, for those of you not in the know, rebels against rebelling. He does his damnedest not to fit in with his MP3 hip-hop contemporaries, not by design of course (he shuns design in the shoddiest of ways) but by blissful ignorance. | She arrived smartly dressed. I had offered that she join the kids and I for a light meal and a movie. I've started introducing all my one night stands to my kids. Her attire carried that edge that informed me that the outfit had been chosen carefully. It's endearing and I am flattered that that she should feel compelled to make the effort and that she wants to get it right and impress even though this is just a one night stand. [more...] | ||
