| One of the books I have to read in my class this term is Naked Lunch by William Burroughs. It is a very interesting book, if not a little hard to read, or really "get into". Anyway, he keeps mentioning the notion of having anal sex with boys, then hanging a boy (or sometimes a girl), bringing him to near orgasm, and on the brink of their orgasm, breaking his neck, thus instantly killing him. | I've just discovered a new way to stay awake in class: take a collar, preferrably my non-leather one as it's the smallest of the 3, and most comfortable, and tighten it just tight enough that it begins to strangle me a little. Not enough to do any harm, but enough to keep me on my toes and aware at all times when I lift my head up that there's a very tight collar around my neck that is perceptively cutting the circulation a bit. | Well I was driving home today (Wed) after getting some last-minute Christmas presents, and what runs across the street in front of my car but a coyote. I kid you not. A coyote in Charlotte, you ask. Well, apparently so. | Well, today when I got home from having lunch with my grandma and her brother who had come to town to see her, I discovered that my last Betta fish, Samurai, or Sammy as I called him, was dead. I was going to change his water, and he was laying at the bottom of it, gills exposed, and I knew he was dead. So I guess that theory that fish float when they die isn't always true. But then Betta fish aren't like most other fish. They have gills and breathe through the water, but they also breathe the air, as they often come to the top and take a breath, something I always thought was neat. [more...]

| I have always wondered why most big (and some small) stores have their bathrooms located all the way in the back? I mean, why can't they have them up front, so when you come in, there's a sign showing bathrooms are to the right? It'll keep you from looking like an idiot while walking quickly to the back of the store with the sole intention of not buying anything, and then you'll make it all the more obvious that you don't intend to shop when you walk back out.
