Saturday was spent mainly in my car driving down to London for a damn good night out.

Now I had decided to go to the TG birthday ball, mainly as if there is one TG I get to in a year its this one, its mad manic, tiring, exhilarating, fun etc et

The night started off with me picking up my ticket (not a long Que at all at around 10.30) and then heading to the express entrance, this is what a few people who have used Se One as a venue have tried to do, to save those that don't have things for the cloakroom the long Que to get in and it worked really well, lead straight into the dungeon and play area.

The first part of the night was spent being Bobette's bitch, handy to have a Jenis about sometimes as he was playing snap happy taking piccies of the many wonderful people there and there stunning outfits, wandering round speaking to people, from watching the people who keep an eye on the dress code, to the dungeon monitors keeping an eye out.

Caught a few of the stage show things, the flaming doo dits were fantastic, very very amusing as well, the rope suspensions going on in one of the rooms were amazing and the circus stuff was just like eeks and wow all at the same time.

Played with a pretty little girly and tied her upside down in the dungeon which was very much fun, the kit in the dungeon is provided by Infernal Mechanix and playpenz I think (dont shoot me if I am wrong) and TG does have a dungeon etiquette policy that is kept an eye on by the DM's there, playing can get a crowd depending on what you are doing mainly as alot of people havent always seen BDSM play very much and are very intrigued by it.

The rest of the evening was spent dancing quite merrily to lots of fun bouncy rockabilly music mainly in one of the rooms.

Now Torture Garden isn't really mentioned on here very much and it is seen as a dance dress up club and to be fair it mainly is but its also a first point of many people into fetish and BDSM. IMO that makes it fairly important.

When I first came on to the scene I worried about the dress codes and was fairly against them as I felt it unfair that you needed to dress a certain was to get into a club but its actually that fact that makes the club what it is.

TG is somewhere you can dress to impress, you can play safely and you can see some of the most amazing things happen, it is somewhere I would say make the effort to go once, same as the Rubber Ball, You should get something out of the night if you don't go with a closed mind

I discovered The Flaming Doo Dits last week and played them on my radio show - they're absolutely fantastic have to see them live if I have a chance!

I love your description of Torture Garden and as I love to dance and can dance for hours on end, I may well visit Torture Garden, sounds like a good night out

They are on over in sheffield in two weeks and I'm thinking about seeing them again there x

I must admit I didn't expect to enjoy Torture Garden, but went along to see what it was like, after not going for years.
I actually managed to enjoy it a lot, though the crowds were a bit much. I think it's a place you need to go to with a definite group of people to hang out and explore with, and it's more a spectator club than a play club, but it was worthwhile. Loved the fire dancers.

Rockin - I loved it! Got in some good doses of play without even having to try and spent the rent of the time socialising, dancing and ogling like I'd never ogled before.
I felt like Cinderella at the ball! Twas fabulous and unforgettable.

All I can say is I love that place, I have been to tons of fetish clubs but TG is by far my favourite! Definately worth going...
