If I understand correctly, the ban was because she jokingly (or some would say sarcastically) picked up on the frequently voiced cliché that members of the BDSM or kink "scene", or perhaps participants on IC, are lacking in the conventional-attractiveness department. Specifically, quite often the opinion gets expressed that there is a larger number (pun intended) of pretty fat people in the "scene" than in the nation's general dating pool. Personally, I also have that impression, particularly when it comes to women. (But perhaps I pay less attention to guys).
