| Things are getting quite international. I'm off to Smogen in Sweden 9-12 June teaching at the shibari weekend, then the week after in Sydney, with a whistle stop in Tokyo to see the young lady pictured right and back via HK for more classes. At the end of the month, I'll be at the S&Mpathy space at Secret Garden before going to Stockholm for Pride. Followed by a trip to Berlin, as Kinoko and others will be there. When I return, it gets all international at the Resistance Gallery with the Festival of the Art of Japanese Rope Bondage and guests from all over the world. | A certain individual on here, using two profile names, has apparently been pretending to be me when replying to personals. He was running a site that purported to offer shibari training in NW London. However, the site has been taken down as it contained virtually nothing but ripped off material from my site (he even had a link to my site to show 'his' work!), ds-arts and bondage.com, plus a whole raft of photographers. | Finally, we shot the final scenes for my new shibari tuition DVD today and I'm now waiting for the final 4 tapes to capture. We completed the tying tutorials some months ago and we have two days of demos, shot from every conceivable angle in great detail. This weekend we shot: safety, rope selection, storage and treatment, plus a demonstration scene and a few pick ups from the last shoot. We have so much good material, that we plan to release it as 2 lower priced volumes (£20-ish?), rather than one massive and expensive one. The first, we hope to finish by around June, with the second before Xmas. [more...] | ||

| I might use a few sound bites to express what people get from Japanese bondage for my tuition DVD. If anyone is up for saying a few words on camera (or off-camera as voice only) this weekend and can get to SE5 south London, please pm me. Any (legal!) age, any gender. It would add variety to also to have an additional female model, who is responsive to rope and easy on the eye, to shoot a short demo with. PM me if interested. | ||

| As some of you might know from the festival web site www.japaneseropebondage.co.uk we have Konoko Hajime performing and teaching at this year's event. If you haven't heard of him yet, you will. This guy is set to be the next big name out of Japan according to Osada Steve. He was inspired by Akechi Denki himself, who performed from time to time at his club, but also brings shibari into the future with his spectacular rock style 'neo-shibari' shows. [more...] | ||
