| The idea sprung into his thoughts as the blood sprang from the incision in his lamb, gathering into small pools, collecting, draining together, congealing into a single mass, a single thought. | There is a long worn cliché concerning the submissiveness of powerful people. The theory of this very often appears to be that they have such powerful day jobs that there is a need for a release at home. This release often takes the form of being sexually submissive. However this theory has never quite rung true to me. So I am writing this to explore my thoughts. I would add that I have only ever had these conversations with women, I acknowledge and accept that underlying motivations and reasons for male submission in those circumstances may be entirely different. | I recently wrote a complaint letter to a train company about an advertising practice that has recently been outlawed by a European directive. It is a technique called 'bait and switch' the theory goes that you advertise product A at a low price to get customers attention, then once they're interested switch them to product B at a higher price. The reason this is outlawed is that it takes advantage of a substantial psychological weakness in that once we have started on a course of action it is difficult to change course or to back out completely. | I very much come to this place for the conversation. I come here to explore and understand people. If one of those encounters becomes more, and goes further then that's always a good thing, but it isn't my primary goal for being here. As a result of this, I've generally very little interest in what a person looks like.
