| In the last week or two, I have had two people I care about alot go through a severe emotional time. It's always with a deal of discomfort to sit on the outside,looking in at the anguish,pain and suffering going on, that really you can do little about. Other than to offer support, sympathetic words,and a shoulder to lean/cry on if required. After that, you just have to be there...as and when. [more...] | ||

| Having problems with car brakes and not allowing enough time for usual saturday city traffic and parking meant arriving at the venue 5 minutes before kick off,hoping there were no real ultra keen folk already there! Find a parking space, go to get money for ticket....no purse!(hopefully left somewhere the day before where it will have been handed in ) [more...]

| Having had a very upsetting and stressful two weeks,I felt fat,old and pretty unloved. But never being one to wallow in self pity for long,made the decision last saturday to make a concerted effort to up the anti on my eating habits.I have always eaten reasonably healthily,but obviously not enough to lose the weight. So, have been patting myself on the back as have stuck pretty rigidly to the self imposed restrictions...eg. no caffiene,sweet stuff,less dairy etc. [more...] | ||
