I am trying to find my head. I promise it is around here somewhere. I may need some kind of pulley and a torch to extricate it. I know, I know, many of you dear readers may think that de head is ALWAYS up de arse here, but this is one of those A&E moments when you lose hold of the end of an object and lo and behold it disappears into the colon.... I received a question on memo this morning and as I have been asked this one several times in memo by curious, or new poly people, I thought it might be worth blogging it and opening it for others to share ideas (thanks by the way for this welcome distraction - I'm anxious today with one of my kids due an operation tomorrow). Obviously I can only speak for how I do things and different people will have different strategies, so hopefully others will contribute to this answer. I'm going to have to ease up on activism related work this week. One of my children is travelling out of the city for a heart repair procedure on Tuesday and my head is well and truly up my arse - I cannot concentrate or remember a bloody thing. Just found out the child in question will be 3.5 hours in theatre so I'm a bit shocked about it (thought it was a fairly short procedure). We only got the date two days ago, so even though we knew it would be sometime this year I feel a bit dazed because it's sudden.
