Well thank all the gods around that the World Cup is finally over! Having suffered in a big way, and not in a good ouchy way, due to a largely football mad household, life can hopefully begin to be good and normal service can be resumed! Might even be a little time for play now  | ||

| Ok, I've seen it all now..... Went out for a drink yesterday, whilst waiting for son to finish dance lesson, and lo and behold, there sitting by the bar were leaflets and menus for.... | Are Doms born or made? Indeed, are subs born or made? Is it some inherent desire, or is it maybe some part of our upbringing? Does being spanked as a child make you submissive, or does it breed a certain dominance, in turn? For me, I guess, I was born fairly assertive, (not to be confused with dominant), but when it comes to play, I am most definitely 100% submissive. No domly tendencies here, thank you very much. | We got our two new babies today - two tiny 7 week old kittens, Mischief and Muddle, brother and sister pair. They're absolutely gorgeous, real bundles of fun. From the looks of it, on early goings on, Mischief is the Domme, and Muddle, bless him, is definitely a sub. Master Jamie is rejoicing - he'd given up all hope of ever getting another dom in the family. Tigger, our lovely kitten previously, was most definitely a sub, and so Mischief is like a breath of fresh for himself! | ||

| What started off as a perfectly normal Friday has gone downhill fast. About an hour ago, a man knocked my door with the sad news that my darling little kitten, Tigger had been killed. Silly I know, to get so upset, but he really was a member of the family. So just sitting here now with tears pouring down my face; even the thoughts of play can't do it today. | ||

| I wrote a weblog last night about some rather disturbing public play I witnessed. Boy what a can of worms that opened! I cannot believe how many feathers I managed to ruffle. The thing is, I could understand it, maybe, if I had named names, or if anything I wrote was untrue, but that wasn't the case. The comments came in thick and fast, and generally, the tone was either cynical or patronising or both. Which in itself, is quite disturbing. | I'm seriously in danger of becoming disillusioned, and thoroughly pissed off. Tonight, (yes it's now very late), I have heard of two episodes, both firsthand, of subs ruining great relationships, and not relationships that the subs themselves were involved in. In both cases, the subs involved were using the BDSM lifestyle as a mask for deeper desires - plain old sex.
