I know it's a long shot but does anyone know a plasterer who can fit in a kitchen at short notice? Wall area approx 15 sq metres will probably just need skimming for painting over, the ceiling, approx 8.5 sq metres is Artexed  so I know will take longer. I'm in postcode WF15 if anyone can help. | Never mind the polar ice caps shrinking at a rapid rate of knots, what about penguins? I bought a pack today (buy 1 get 1 free at the Co-op bargain fans!) and found to my horror they've shrunk to about 3 inches long And they're slimmer, unlike me after a whole pack, cough! Bloody cabin fever. Now I may have my rose tinted specs on but I'm sure they used to bigger than that! Two bites and they're gone, how's that going to satisfy my choccy biccie craving I ask you? Well? Well? I tell you, it's a shocking indictment of the world today. | ||

Lip out, cranky bedtime, toys out of the pram; call it what you like I'm in a foul mood. Recovering from a tiny bit of day surgery but I'm housebound, stiff and bruised, in pain and uncomfortable. I can't do what I want when I want 'cos I can't move very well and I hate that feeling. However chose the name painkillers should be destroyed under the Trades Description Act! I've got raging cabin fever already and I've only done one day I should be OK by the weekend, hopefully Friday, but that's then and I want to be right now  [more...]

Just read on the BBC website that Asda have trademarked the slapping of the arse gesture which allegedly is to show how much money is left in your pocket after shopping, or is it?
