| having a chat today to my boss about a client who was going to go else where but I managed to keep them buy offering a huge discount. I thought my boss would be please but he ranted at me and said "you made yourself look like a whore". | I have been considering for years to get a tattoo. I was very close to getting one. It was something called a shiva sun. Its an ancient indian/muslim symbol and I thought at the time it looked brilliant. I had a appointment booked in at the tattooist and a couple days before fate stepped in. 9 / 11 happend and my friends advised me that I would be pretty daft to get a symbol like that tattooed on me with the problems it could be assocaited with. | it started a week last friday, went to my folks to pick up my dog (i cant have him as my hours of work are huge). I took him for a walk in my local woods and he did a runner on me. Yeap 90 mins later I am walking round the woods shouting his name. I find him playing in a mud bath, having a great time. Took him home had to shower him and my bathroom was left looking like crap. That was the start of it all and it became worse, alot worse. I basically had a falling out with anyone near me. It finished on a great note last friday. [more...] | ||

| A company contacted me a few weeks ago, wanting me to go for an interview with them. The sent me all the guff about how good they are and what they want and looking for etc. Did my research, found out a little about them and attended the interview today. This interview was a group interview and we had to partake in group discussion and tasks. All good fun, I dont mind do things like that at all. While all this was going on there where a number of people sitting round taking notes of what we said and did. Not a problem, an opportunity for me to shine. | I was about 9 or 10 and I was given a book to read. I thought it was going to be the typically average book. Kids on an amazing adventure etc etc. I read this book and wow, my outlook on life changed from there. The book is called "fluke" and its written by James Herbert. As most of you will know James Herbert normally writes horror and he would hardly be someone I would recommend to a 9 year old. This book is different its spiritual in a way, makes you wonder about your life, in short it makes you think. The book is about a scruffy mongrel and his constant memories. | Life hey, isn't it a bitch. I am having a really good time at the moment. My job takes up alot of my time and at the moment I pretty darn good at it. I work in sales, in a consultancy / tehnical geeky type of job. Went out to see two potential clients today and had them pratically eating out of my hand. No doubt I will get there signatures and earn myself a lot of money, but more than that they appreciate me and advice that i gave, instead of the idiots and conmen that are out there. | I have never beleived in fate before. I always thought that fate was a cowards way of making excuses for the mistakes in there life. Passing the buck etc. However fate has come my way and this time its positive. My life is changing, fast and hard. When you lie in your bed at night and think to yourself "why me", a different way of looking at it is "why not me". Everyone has a run of bad luck, bad times but with whats going on in my life I can now see that my hard times where there for a reason. I am a better person for having my hard times, I now have a greater understanding and empathy for the [more...] | ||

| I thought that I would stick my toe in the water and see how things would go for me at the BBB. Not been there for ages and the last time it was not a great day. As I am single again and my x sub seemed to know everybody I thought that I would be on my own for the most of the day. I thought it would be a complete disaster but hey I would only know if I tried.
