However, it wasn't simply a feeling, there *was* a community, welcoming to those that were new, but you still had to earn the trust of your peers. The 'community' as was, policed itself too, not going so far as it had years before (and physically removing subs from violent relationships - yes it did happen), but rather removing those that *were* a real danger to the scene and the people within it, from 'the community'....the community network worked!
