| I am in the process of appealing against my Incapacity Benefit being stopped. I filled in the approved form, saying exactly why I am doing this, and sent the benefits people, promptly and as requested, a sick note. | Today, I have been making steel spikes, for collars and bracelets. They are made from stainless steel, no chrome plated rubbish, my own hands on the controls of the lathe, my own arm getting wet from the spray of coolant oil. And you know what? It felt really good. I used to earn my living as a turner, and a lot of the time the work was boring and repetitive. But today was a job I wanted to do, as opposed to just one stage in the production of left handed blivets. It was with a good friend who has a splendidly equipped small workshop. | Shopping in the local market today, just stood to one side of the butchers where I had made some purchases....an old woman ambles up to me, talking to her bloke....and she starts to push me. | Finished today rebuilding an old pair of leather jeans. Now they have thongs running in eyelets down the legs, and bondage straps around the legs at three places. I love them, because the original jeans were made specially for me, and now I have modified them and they are unique. | ||
